Cake is always a good idea

All cakes are made with love out of my home bakery in Southington, Connecticut. I create designs that range from simple and classic to very ornate... and everything in between.

I am a self-taught cake artist with a passion for delicious cake and unique buttercream designs. My baking journey started when I was a kid. My grandmother made the most amazing cakes. The cakes I make today are based on her original recipes. For a long time I only cared about the cake (taste is the most important part!). But, after I made our wedding cake years ago, I became more interested in decorating, and, over time, grew my love for unique color palettes and textures. All my designs are created with buttercream frosting, which I believe is the most versatile medium for cake art and tastes great too.
